What's greed? Having a strong desire for more wealth food etc.
More than what's reasonable [or] right.
What 's the other word for greed? Avarice.
It's greed for money [or] possessions.
Who was fond of gold? King Midas.
What did he do every day?He counted the gold coins,
in a dark room over and over.
What happened one day? All of a sudden a figure appeared.
What did the stranger say?
Midas could ask any boon from him And it would come true.
What did Midas ask?
He asked the stranger that Whatever he touch ,
should turn into gold.
What did the stranger say? He said let that be so.
What happened to Midas then?
When he touches the roses in the garden, it turned into gold.
When he sat on the table to have a meal everything turned into gold.
When his daughter touched him she became a golden statue.
What did Midas do? He cried and called for the stranger.
What did Midas tell the stranger?
To take back the boon and give back his daughter alive flesh and blood.
What he get what he wanted? Yes.
What do you learn from this story? Be content with what you have.
Can you be content with the knowledge that you have? No.
